Look to see what Father God is doing and listen to what He is saying

This is the lifestyle that Jesus modeled for us, namely to do nothing, except what we see our Father in heaven is doing and to say nothing, except we hear what He is saying.

“Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.” John 5:19-20

“Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.”  John 8:28

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matt.28:20

The Lord is always with us and when we bring a situation before Him, asking Him to show us what He is doing and saying in that situation, He will surely do so.  The secret is to ask in trust!

Many times when I have prayed for people to get freedom from harassing situations and traumatic memories, I have simply led them to look at what Jesus was doing and to listen to what He was saying in that situation.

A young woman was gloriously set free from paranoia when she looked with her spiritual eyes, seeing Jesus walk into the traumatic memory when a burglar stepped through an open window into her room.  She saw Jesus standing between her and the burglar and He comforted her with the Word, “Do not fear, I am with you always”.   All fear was gone and she was filled with joy and peace with a new picture in her memory.

Whatever our situations might be, when the Lord is invited into it while we watch and listen to see and t hear what He is doing and saying, we receive a paradigm shift and our perception changes.

As we receive His Word on the situation, we start declaring it until it fills our mind and emotions with peace.

Hallelujah!

FREELY GLIDE IN THE SPIRIT

FREELY GLIDE IN THE SPIRIT

image

It is of uptmost importance to keep our hearts free, guarding it with all diligence, for out of it springs the issues of life.(Prov.4:23).

I heard the word, “Pile-ups” in the spirit and knew that the Lord was giving me a warning not to allow issues and difficulties to “pile up” in my consciousness and sub-consciousness, becoming burdens, stresses and pre-occupations.

As I was fellowshiping with a close friend, we realized again how subtle the enemy is, creeping in with all kinds of things that cause stress, stealing your joy.  If we do not deal with these things by bringing it before the Lord, it will pile up  and before you know it, you will be stressed and oppressed, bearing “burdens” which are not from the Lord.  In the process you get distracted and side-tracked from doing what God has called you to do and you lose momentum.

Therefore I want to encourage you to take some special time out with the Lord, waiting on Him and rising up to get heavenly perspective. (Is.40:29-31)

Ask the Holy Spirit to put His spotlight on the things that you subconsciously stress about in the deepest layers of your heart, allowing pile-ups which will deplete you of energy and focus.  Now bring it into the light and intentionally deal with it!

RELEASE AND BREATHE!

Release these issues one by one to the Lord (MATT.11:28-30/PHIL.4:6) breathing deep into the Spirit – into the provision of His grace, His wisdom, His provision, His blessing and whatever else you need, which are all supplied in Christ Jesus.

You will be replenished, receiving His perfect peace in the midst of any storm and your joy will be full in Him.

RE-FOCUS

Remember, where the eye goes, the mind follows.  Take every thought captive in obedience to the Lord and turn your eyes upon Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Heb.12:1-3), taking every thought captive in obedience to the Lord.  Thank Him for working out all the details of your life and choose to rejoice in His goodness and grace.

RENEW YOUR VISION & PURPOSE

Simply get your vision before your eyes again and keep viewing your life form above, from His viewpoint and counsel, deliberately speaking His Word into your situations with prophetic declarations, knowing that your mouth determines the outcome! (Prov.18:21)

ENJOYING THE FREE GLIDE IN THE SPIRIT

Now you will be on a free glide on the wind streams of the Spirit (not flapping your wings in anxiousness), but living from above the static, releasing God’s will and His Word into the earth for His glory!   Enjoy the glide in His Presence!

9 Characteristics of a Real New Testament Prophet

9 Characteristics of a Real New Testament Prophet – Dr. Steve Crosby

Stereotypes regarding prophetic ministry have existed for centuries. For some, prophets have been dispensationally deleted from church existence, allegedly “passing away” with the death of the last apostle or the closing of the canon.

Others may not be dispensationally inclined in their thinking and beliefs, but they have had either no experience, or some very bad experiences, with those who claim to be modern era prophets. Yet others have had full-on, cultic experiences with those who have claimed to be prophets. Can any path out of this mess be found?  I’d like offer a suggested road map.

Like virtually everything . . . it’s all in the definition of terms.

Prophets, “prophetic people,” or people labelled by others as “being prophetic”  are often erroneously characterized as being severe, ungovernable, frenetic, specially gifted, loners, emotional, mystic, unpredictable, weird, flaky, spooky, confrontational, impractical, intuitive not rational, “spirit” over “mind” people, and more generalizations along this line, all of which are very unfortunate and inaccurate stereotypes.

The tendency to determine what is or is not prophetic, or who is or is not a prophet by the mere presence or absence of a charismatic endowment, rather than inner alignment to kingdom truth, is unfortunate. It often carries tragic results.

The simplest definition of being prophetic is: hearing God and doing what He says!

Here are some qualities of bona fide new testament prophetic ministry from a new covenant and  Christ-centered perspective.

1. BEYOND GIFTEDNESS

Being able to accurately predict the future, deliver an accurate word of knowledge, or personal prophecy does not make someone a prophet. It might make him/her a gifted crook, new age psychic, or occultist. Delivering an accurate personal word (the normal expectation in prophetic-apostolic circles) is a legitimate, but minor facet of what it means to be a prophet.  It’s a wholly inadequate definition. Genuineness and spiritual authenticity from a Christian ministry perspective is determined by: character, message content, and gift operation. All three must be present to validate a ministry. Balaam gave an accurate prophecy, but he was not God’s prophet. John the Baptist did no miracles, predicted nothing, and he was the greatest prophet born of woman of that era. There is more to being God’s prophet than exercise of a gift.

2. SIGHTEDNESS

A prophet has a unique, God-given ability to bring forth a clear unveiling of the Person of Christ, and His current purposes in the cosmos, through the opening of the Word of God, by the Spirit of God. John the Baptist, the greatest prophet of the old order, did not predict future events, nor did he do any miracles. He made Christ known. His message was not “this or that is going to happen,” but “behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.”

3. ICONOCLASTIC

Prophets have the divine ability to tear down inner obstacles and outer systems that prevent the apprehension of Christ. Because of this ability, prophets are often unwelcome in the prevailing Christian culture. They do not preach a feel good, personal enrichment, life enhancement, false gospel. They are a threat to all systems that are not wholly Christ-centered and of kingdom ethos.

4. CONFORMING EMPOWERMENT

A prophet calls God’s people to conformity to those functions of sight through transformation and empowerment. It’s not enough to point out deficiency in individuals, systems, and structures. To do so is not a spiritual function. Critics point out deficiency. Prophets point out what is wrong and provide a path and means for remediation through grace empowerment.

5. MOTIVATION

Grace and a broken heart, not legalities and judgments of surface issues motivate a prophet. God has no dry-eyed prophets. Prophets live in, and minister from, the realities of the New Covenant, not the blessings and curses; fear and dread of the Old Covenant. Prophets build from a platform of internal ethics and accuracy of their lives, not from the exercise of their gift.

6. RELATIONSHIPS

Contrary to stereotypes, a prophet is relational. One of the signs of a dysfunctional prophet is an inability to functionally relate interpersonally and socially.

7. CONSCIOUSNESS

To be prophetic is to nurture, nourish, and evoke a consciousness and perception that is alternative to the consciousness and perception of the dominant culture around us (Robert Wilson, Prophecy and Society in Ancient Israel). NT prophets primarily evoke, or awaken, a Christ-consciousness in believers (Heb. 10:1-10), not awareness of future events.

8. BUILDERS NOT BLESSERS

Prophets are by nature primarily builders, not blessers. They’re concerned with strategic and long-term change–lasting internal configuration to Truth–not short-term emotional charge. Prophets are sent to a church to elicit obedience and conformity to divine Truth, not to bless people by telling them how wonderful they are, how rich they’re going to be, and how they’re going change the world. The notion that as a believer I can hear God, not obey Him, and still be “blessed,” is crazy. Godly understanding, plus conformity to the understanding, is the essence of being prophetic.

9. EQUALIZATION

Part of John the Baptist’s ministry was the filling of valleys and the bringing down of mountains. Prophets are concerned about equalization in all relationships, systems, and structures. In the new covenant era, being prophetic is for everyone (Joel 2, Acts 3, Num. 11), not just a few gifted specialists. True prophets have the ability to bring prophetic equalization to people, not just merely display their gift before people.

Step up in Acceleration

God is ready to manifest Himself in great glory through His mature sons and daughters in this time frame.  Therefore the Holy Spirit is executing His workmanship in us behind the scenes so that we can be positioned in our true identity in Christ, secure in His Love and knowing our God to do the works which He has prepared beforehand for His glory. (Eph.2:10/Eph.1:17-20)

 “STEP UP INTO ACCELERATION”

I recently had a vision of stepping on to a conveyor belt with chains, interlocking and heard the word “Acceleration”.

I understood that for those who would “step up” into God’s call and provision for this season, there would be an acceleration and “at once” you would find yourself  “on a different shore” (as you allow Jesus to come into your boat so to speak) in intimate relationship.

The links in the conveyor belt denote the coming together of different events and people in your life, integrated to “convey” you to into your predestined purpose for this season. This is all by the working of the Holy Spirit.  Our part is simply to “step up” into God’s divine provision in Christ, not missing our opportunity for such a time as this!  It also speaks of a readiness for His suddenlies to step into miracles, signs and wonders, experiencing transportations and translations, having authority over the elements, etc. as those who believe will do the greater works.

John 6: 20 (KJV) “But Jesus spoke up: “It is I; do not be afraid.” 21Then they were willing to take Him into the boat, and at once the boat reached the shore where they were heading.

John 14:12 (KJV) “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

POSSESS YOUR PROMISES

POSSESS YOUR PROMISES! – Received @ 8:28 on Friday, September 2nd, 2016img_4921-2

I sense the Lord is calling you to step into His PROMISED LAND TODAY to POSSESS THE LAND. BE STRONG AND VERY COURAGEOUS (just like Joshua and Caleb).

Don’t look back at what you have suffered, lost or missed. I AM CALLING you forth out of this place today INTO THE FULNESS OF MY PLANS AND DESIRES FOR YOU!

Don’t look at yourself (or your circumstances) but look at My power inside of you – the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you to overcome every obstacle and flatten every mountain before you.

This is your opportune time to access your inheritance in Christ and be what He called you to be, enjoying the abundance of His provision while you are expanding His Kingdom, shining His light and His glory into every dark place.

Therefore, rise up and conquer – not by might, not by power but by My Spirit says the Lord, while walking out My Word for your life.

MARCHING ORDERS

MARCHING ORDERS

Yesterday, August 8th, 2016 I was very aware of the double 8th’s:
8th day of the 8th month in the year 2016 (16=8×2).

The number eight signifies new beginnings and the doubles in the date caused an excitement in my spirit, picking up a doubling in the Jubilee blessings, double new doors being opened (Is.45) and a doubling in opportunities for those who will walk through these double doors in this timing.

As I was prayerfully watching and listening for the Holy Spirit to speak, I sensed that a definite shift has occurred.

FORWARD MARCH through DOUBLE OPEN DOORS

Unknown

Those who have been waiting on the Lord in intimate worship, will now experience a sudden move into forward gear – a new gear that has been oiled for the new season.

I heard the words, “Forward march!”

Marching implies being in sync with those who are fitly joined together with you by the Holy Spirit in perfect unity of purpose:

Ephesians 4: 15-16 King James Version (KJV)

15 “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”

I heard, “There is a girding up”, girded with the girdle of Truth and new strength for the uncharted pathways.

Double new doors are opening with all the provision needed for the new assignments God has for you, coupled with a double portion of the anointing for those who will tap into it in worship.

Step through in the confidence that the Lord’s dealings in you have broken you through into a new season of fruitfulness, which will be sweet, fresh and fragrant, resulting in an empowerment of others who will feast on the revelation of God’s glory through you.

NEW SHOES

I see new shoes being provided to walk on new pathways – never been walked before. Much is in store for the sons of God who will venture on these new pathways, following the leading of the Holy Spirit by faith (Rom.8:14), not allowing human reasoning to interfere – simply obedient to His voice. It will be almost like a treasure hunt – following the cues and the still, small voice of the Spirit in simple trust, never doubting, but watchfully paying attention to His sign posts as He goes before them, leading them into the fulness of their destiny.

“….the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits”. (Dan.11:32)

THE OIL OF JOY

I have the sense of a fresh smell of the fragrance of the oil of joy, and a sense of leaping and shouting! God is releasing this oil of joy with an excitement in the air, an expectancy to see God’s glory on display in new ways! Those who delight themselves in the Lord, rejoicing in His goodness and mercy, will see their heart’s desires fulfilled in unexpected ways. (Prov.37:4)

The Spirit of Truth will lead you and guide you in all truth, strengthen you with joy and faith to follow where He leads through these new double doors of opportunity, even though it not be on familiar roadways. Love will compel you as you possess new territory for the King’s glory.

I want to encourage you to step out on the prompting of the Lord, not looking at the negative circumstances around you, but fixing your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith! (Heb.12: 1-3). There is a cloud of witnesses cheering you on!
Do what you are called to do – nothing more, nothing less and nothing else – in unity with those around you for God’s glory alone!

Blessings,
Elsabe

“Time To Soar Higher, Roar Louder!”

Bobby_Carolyn_Conner_500px, Bullard, TX

“It is time to Soar higher and Roar louder” – Bobby Conner

I was in Singapore at the exact moment I was typing out the title for this teaching, and as soon as the last word was typed, suddenly, a group of jet planes flew just over the hotel where I was staying and it shook the place as they roared by. I think this is a strong confirmation. The Saints of God will be ready to roar as righteous lions and soar as prophetic eagles (see Isaiah 40:31 and Proverbs 28:1). God’s design and desire for Believers is to be bold, brave and very courageous (see Joshua 1:9). This is possible because of HE WHO dwells within us (see 1 John: 4:4). In Christ Jesus we are unstoppable and invincible (see Romans 8:37).

Yes, we will have conflicts and confrontations but the Scriptures declare: In God we are victorious and no weapons made works against us (see Isaiah 54:17).

Swift and Complete Obedience

By the overflowing grace of God this is my forty-seventh year in ministry! And I’ve had the wonderful privilege of preaching the Word of God around the world. I’ve averaged speaking five times a week for over forty-seven years. I said all that to say this—if I could give you any advice to help you be successful in your Christian walk it is this: “Practice swift and complete obedience! Do as quickly and completely, as you can, all God is asking you to do.” There is no substitute for obeying God. Truly obedience is better than sacrifice (see 1 Samuel 15:22).

During these chaotic changing times, it is crucial that we embrace the Lord’s promise given to us in John 10:27: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” Each one of us should earnestly pray, asking God to remove anything that would hinder us from clearly hearing and discerning His voice. (Photo via flickr)

Claim the promise found in Matthew 13:16-17—that we have blessed ears and blessed eyes; capable of hearing and seeing revealed truth. Ask the Spirit of Truth to open the eyes of your heart, flooding it with revelatory insights into the Word and ways of God (see Ephesians 1:17-18). Ask for wisdom to walk in alignment with the written Word of God (James 1:22).

Never forget the statement of Christ Jesus: But He replied, “It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

Make a firm commitment to fully follow the Lamb wherever He leads (Revelation 14:4). Let the Word of God be a bright beacon, beaming, light for your pathway. God’s Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105, 130). The Christian life is not lived stumbling in the darkness but walking confidently in the light (1 John 1:5-10).

The Opportunity to Advance the Kingdom

Yes, Scripture states: it will get ever increasingly darker in the world, but for the true children of God it will get lighter and brighter (Isaiah 60:1-3). We are living in unprecedented times; never before has there been such an opportunity for advancing the Kingdom of God. (Photo via Pixabay)

As followers of Christ, we are to be the light of the world, a city set high on a hill giving bright hope and light to a hurting world (see Matthew 5:14-16). We are called to walk boldly in the radiant light of Christ the King (see Psalm 36:9). We are instructed to walk as Children of Light (see Ephesians 5:8). The Church truly stands at an open door and the Lord has extended His invitation for us to come up higher (Revelation 4:1-4).

Notice these verses in Isaiah 21:11-12: “Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?” The watchman said, “The morning comes, and also the night…”

Just as the prophet reported about the night and the light appearing at the same time, these days also will be days of great contrast: joy and sorrow, jubilation and depression, life and death, peace and anarchy. The key to our victorious journey is our focus upon the finished work of Christ. It is Christ in us the assurance of Glory (see Colossians 1:27).

The Spirit of God is calling each of us to behold the Beloved in His glory. It is time to view the victorious King. The more we know about HIM, the more we will understand who we are to be.

As we remain steadfast in our quest to see Him as He is, then we will become more and more like HIM. As we behold HIM with an unveiled face we are changed— transformed into His likeness (see 2 Corinthians 3:18).

Great Praise and Adoration

The Spirit God is emphasizing Psalm 108. Great praise and adoration will arise as our eyes are restored and we behold the Lord in His awesome beauty, anointing, and power. We are about to be truly awestruck by the revelation of God’s glorious Son.

Get ready to experience a Holy Spirit invasion and a truly divine intervention as you study these verses:

O God, my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, lute and harp!
I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to you, among the nations. For Your mercy is great above the heavens,
And Your truth reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth; That Your beloved may be delivered,
Save with your right hand, and hear me…

Give us help from trouble;
For the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.
Psalm 108:1-6, 12-13

As we praise the Lord and extol His holy name, great help is released from Heaven. The last statement of this Psalm is key for these days: “Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.”

How Shall We Live?

What will make the difference in how these crucial times affect your life? Simply this—your walk with Jesus Christ will make all the difference. Grace will be released to the soul that turns to Christ with a desperate heart. Judgment awaits the deceptive, rebellious heart. This judgment came quickly to the two pretenders, Ananias and Sapphira, in Acts 5. Their sin was lying about their hearts’ devotion to the Lord. This type of deception will now also be judged. (Photo via Pixabay)

These are days when the battle for our minds will rage. The foe will try to cause us to divert our eyes from the Lord and focus on the events occurring on earth. Now is the time to give earnest heed to the warnings found in Romans 8:5-6:

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spirituality minded is life and peace.”

Let these words sink deep into your soul, for they will be life and peace to those who will hear and obey. Strive to become a doer of the Word and not just a hearer (see James 1:22).

The battle is for our minds. Proverbs 23:7 informs us “For as he [a person] thinks in his heart, so is he.” It is vital that we keep our hearts filled with the Living Word of God. We must keep our minds focused and stayed on the Lord (Isaiah 26:3). What we set our minds on will determine how we live during these dark days. The Scriptures remind us to set our minds “on things above” (see Colossians 3:2) and think on things that are pure and honest and good (see Philippians 4:8).

May the Spirit of God open the eyes of our understanding to give us wisdom and direction during these apocalyptic, dark days! With our eyes focused firmly upon the Lord and His steadfast promises, we are fearless, marching boldly and confidently into our future (see Jeremiah 31:17).

God bless you and your walk of victory in the Victorious One.
