Entering in to the “New Thing”

IMG_2070 PART 1

This is a word of encouragement to the body of Christ to have a song of victory through the gates into your new season.

From Rosh Hashanah through the days of awe I experienced a definite shift, as well as a strong resistance in the spirit realm, as I transitioned from the US to South Africa for this season.

As I was praying and listening intently, the Lord gave me special keys to enter into the “new thing” He is doing, highlighting the path of Joshua.

”Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Is. 43:18-19

We can all see the “new thing” is happening and as we take time to get perspective in the Presence of the Lord, we will receive knowledge of His ways in processing us through. God is promising a road to walk on where there was no road and pour out rivers of revelation in the driest place. Wow!  Now trust Him to do exactly as He promised and declare it!

When you walk in the Spirit, He will rise up from within you with a song of praise to the Lord that will build faith in you, strengthen you and invigorate you with momentum to run the race with perseverance.  I’ve been singing that song:

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

By a roadway in the wilderness, He’ll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and Earth will fade but His Word will still remain
And He will do something new today” – Don Moen

The SONG IN MY SPIRIT HAS CARRIED ME THROUGH ON MANY  UNKNOWN WAYS IN MY WALK WITH GOD!

“WAITING” ON GOD

Just like Joshua had to “wait” in intimate fellowship until he received instructions, so do we have to “wait” (wrap ourselves around Him) on the Lord continually in worship to hear the strategy for the moment and to see what He is doing in order to take the right steps to enter into the new territory the Lord has for us – in the natural and in the spiritual.  And yes, it is of utmost importance now to be in the right place (in our minds and also geographically) at the right time, doing what the Lord has pre-ordained for us to do (not our own plans and agendas).

If the Lord has spoken to you about relocating, don’t procrastinate.  Be positioned in worship, “listen up”, be available to follow where He leads and come out of your comfort zone.

DREAM ABOUT EXPANSION and LETTING GO OF THE OLD COMFORT ZONES

I had a dream, which I feel is applicable to all of the body of Christ:

I was in a place that was in a process of reconstructive building and expansion, a very modern, big concrete construction, while demolishing the old.

Two old couches were standing there and I was thinking that they could still be used, but the next moment they were destroyed by the builders (literally cut in half).   I also pulled off old creepers from the walls and all of a sudden everything looked so fresh and new (like a breakthrough to go into a new phase).

We are inclined to hang on to the old comfort zones, but in order to expand beyond our old limited thinking patterns, we have to release the old mind structures of many years and let our tent pegs be enlarged, led by the Holy Spirit, who is building strong new structures.

“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations:  spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;  for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left;  and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited” Is.54:2-3

We also have to pull out (UPROOT) the old “growths” that have crept in and clung to our lives.  In this season of God doing a “new thing” (Is.43) we have to let go of our control and hand over every facet of our lives (especially our thinking patterns) to the Holy Spirit, adapting to His ways of expansion and growth.

At this point I have to share with you that I have noticed how many people “get stuck” emotionally, physically, spiritually and cannot fulfill their call because of unresolved trauma in their past.  To help you understand this better, I will shortly post a new MP3 to help you move on.

God’s “structure” might look totally different than our preconceived ideas, so will we trust Him to take the lead or will we try to confine Him to our limitations and be stunted?  It truly is a walk by faith and those who truly “follow” the Lord will take many leaps of faith.

IT IS KEY TO LISTEN TO HIS INSTRUCTIONS AND ACCESS OUR PROMISES BY FAITH,” calling those things that be not just as though they were” (Rom.4:17), just like Abraham.

This speaks of perseverance and the attitude of an overcomer!

If God said it, it will be so!  That is why it is important to keep record of our prophetic Words and review all the road signals that we have received on the way.

***The prophetic Word is like a lamp that shines in a dark place, lighting up the path before us.  Then, set your face like a flint to access what He promised, looking away (from the obstacles) unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, contending for those promises in prayer, worship and prophetic declarations.

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…..”  Heb 12:1-2a

KNOWING YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST, YOUR ROD OF AUTHORITY AND YOUR ASSIGNMENT

We cannot enter our promised land with the consciousness of our own ability or inability or be intimidated by the enemy. If you look at yourself or the circumstances around you, you are setting yourself up for failure.  Our eyes of faith must be steadily fixed on the Lord.

The Lord said to Joshua,  “Be strong and of good courage” (Jos. 1:6); “Only be strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law …..(Jos.1:7); and again in verse 9: “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage;  be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed;  for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

This strengthening comes by the knowledge of His everlasting love, so let’s pray with Paul:  Father I ask in the Name of Jesus that you might grant me, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might by Your Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in my heart by faith; that I, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length, and depth and height;  and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that I might be filled with all the fullness of God.”  (Eph.3:17-19)

We are a royal priesthood

So let us get rid of the pauper mentality and bear ourselves like sons and daughters of the living God and therefore as princes and princesses, ambassadors of His Kingdom, shining with the light of His glory, walking in royal authority to establish His Kingdom – everywhere, showing forth His praises! (Rev. 1:6 and 1 Pet.2:5)

REVELATION OF THE GLORY ZONE

While I was worshiping, I suddenly SAW this as in a picture:

When we walk in the glory (saturated in worship in His Presence), His glory carries us, protects us, guides us, encompasses us, carrying us into the right places (ordering our steps), opening the doors before us, attracting favor and grace, breaking strongholds from before us.  In this glory He rules and reigns and a flow of the river of glory is released, containing everything we need.

GATES AND DOORS

In crossing over into the promises of God for this new season, the flesh has to be totally dealt with.  This is Gilgal for every fleshly motive, reaction, self-awareness, etc. which spells death to self and a circumcision of the heart.

Crossing over means we will go through new gates and doors.  This is where the battle takes place and where our victory is determined, for there is much opposition by the giants in the land.

Lean against the door by:

1)    Having your vision clear before your eyes and not settling for less. (Hab.2;1-2)

2)    Pray and intercede much in tongues (Eph.6:18)

3)    Pressing in for the breakthrough with perseverance and patience (James 1:4)

4)    Let the song of victory reverberate through you every step of the way

THIS IS WHERE OUR PRAYERS AVAILETH MUCH!  CALL ON GOD IN AGREEMENT WITH STRONG INTERCESSORS AND HE WILL GIVE YOU THE VICTORY!

As you intercede in tongues you will receive His ideas and pointers.

THE SONG OF VICTORY THROUGH THE GATES

In the gates the outcome of the battle is determined and once before when I was traveling from the US to South Africa, I saw a sign on a wall in the airport, saying “Delta song”.  The Holy Spirit quickened it to my spirit and as I was flying with Delta Airlines, I asked the Lord for the special song to sing through the gates.  WE HAVE TO BE SENSITIVE TO THE SPIRIT to receive the SOUND FROM HEAVEN!

Chuck Pierce released the Word regarding greater obstacles in our way currently.

I was pondering on this reality (which I was experiencing at that time) when the Holy Spirit suddenly rose up in me with a shout, “But My God is greater than any opposition”.  I started singing this song with a joy like I never sang it before:

How great is our God.

Blessings,

Elsabe
