Break Through
We can all see that the NEW SEASON is breaking out, but the question is whether we are positioned to break through into this fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
God has glorious things prepared for those who love Him – things we have not yet seen, heard of or imagined!
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” – 1 Cor. 2:9
Now is the time to break out of the old into the fresh outpouring of the glory in this season. Here are some keys:
Many are experiencing trials, tribulations, hardships, etc. but we were not made to carry the load and the stress of it. We all know by experience that worries, fear, stress, fretting, etc. do not change anything. So why carry on with the same pattern if it doesn’t work? If we look around us, we see the results of stress in sickness and disease, so we need to avoid stress like the plague.
Jesus gives us the solution:
Matthew 11:28-30
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
We do not always realize how much stress, fear and worry we carry until we start listening to what comes out of our mouths. It is time to recognize these areas and consciously choose to do what Jesus tells us to do: Hand it over and put your trust completely in Him. Then worship Him for taking care of you.
When we follow our Shepherd, He leads us to the still waters of HIS REST, where there is a flow of the Spirit in perfect peace and joy. In this place we can hear His voice and receive His instructions to simply implement it in our situations.
It might sound like a paradox, but the place of HIS REST is the place of BREAKTHROUGH into the abundant life.
Could it be that we need to repent of our unbelief and self-power so that we can enter into His rest?
2) LEAVE THE PAST BEHIND
Many are reliving their past regrets, losses and hurts on a daily basis, watching the “video’s” of darkness, hurts and pain over and over again and never enter into the freedom that Christ has purchased for us on the cross. It is time to move on through repentance and forgiveness, leaving the old behind and getting a paradigm shift.
Philippians 3:13
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind…….”
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.”
This is one of the most important keys that I have ever received to step over and break into the abundance in Christ. Do it today and watch yourself every day to not give place for any trace of darkness in your thought life, but to walk in the light of His countenance.
3) GET RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND (Rom 12:1-2)
This is a two-fold key:
One of the greatest keys to victory is to keep your eye single (Matt. 6:29) – focused on Jesus, and then the other part follows, namely to keep your mind in the Light. Wherever your eye goes, your mind will follow.
We are called to set our minds on things above, not on the things on the earth (Col.3:2). So, the secret is to take every thought captive in obedience to Christ (II Cor.10:3-5) – not allowing your mind to go back to the negative of darkness, but to keep the Lord Jesus always before your face, and you shall not be moved. (Acts 2:20)
This is a constant choice and a discipline to be developed that will transform you and bring you in constant joy and victory in Christ Jesus.
Thinking on “these” things (as in Phil.4:8) will cause you to sow life and blessing through God’s Word in your mouth and what you sow you shall reap! Declare a thing and it shall be established, so declare what you want, not what you do not want! (Job 22:28).
4) PURSUE THE HIGH CALLING IN CHRIST JESUS
Philippians 3:14-15
“……..and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
This upward call is now VERY URGENT. If we do not rise up in worship with wings like eagles, learning to get perspective from the height of His Presence, we will be overwhelmed by the oppression in the lower realms.
But this is only the starting point of the glories that await us in His Presence. Let us pursue this high calling in a more intimate love relationship with the Lord than ever before. He hears worshipers (John 9:31) and in this place we will feast at His banqueting table while our enemy can only look on. It is a place of empowering to face every challenge and come through victorious in Christ!
We are seated together with Christ in heavenly places (Eph.2:6), “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (Eph.1:23).
Maintain your position in Christ experientially by constant worship, becoming a house of worship, filled with His glory!
5) BREAK THROUGH INTO BEING A GLORY DISTRIBUTOR
Take time to rise up into the high places, entering through the open door of revelation to hear His voice and feast on the heavenly splendor that He wants to show to you. Ask, seek, knock for more of Him and He will manifest Himself to you in His glory.
It is in the magnificence of His Presence that He prepares clay vessels to carry His glory into every situation to bring breakthrough for others in salvation, healing and deliverance.
Let’s get saturated in Him, soaked in the river of the Spirit until we drip with new oil.
2 Corinthians 4:7-10
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”
