The Power of the Blood of Jesus

Salvation, forgiveness, inner healing, physical healing, deliverance and a life of victory in the glory all start with the Blood of Jesus.

If we get a revelation of the power of the precious blood of Jesus, we will always be in the position of victorious living in the abundant life that Jesus purchased for us on the cross!

FORGIVENESS through the Blood of Jesus.

The blood of Jesus was shed for the forgiveness of our sin, once and for all.  Because of the tremendous price that Jesus paid for our freedom, He also expects us to forgive those who trespass against us, just as He forgave us our debt.  This has to be an ongoing way of living – up to seventy times seven times.

Unforgiveness and bitterness in our hearts invite the tormentors according to Matt.18:23-35.

Ask God to give you the grace to forgive – not only those who have wounded you, but also to forgive yourself because of the price that Jesus paid for your freedom.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:8-9

When the Lord forgives us, He never thinks of it again:  Heb.8:12/Ps.103:14/Is.43:25

“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more” (Heb.8:12)

Jesus was shedding His blood for us from Gethsemane to the cross.

He was sweating blood through the agony of His soul in Gethsemane.

He was beaten with sticks, then scourged with 39 stripes, paying the price for our healing. He was bleeding inwardly (bruised for our iniquities), chastised for our peace.

The crown of thorns was beaten into His head with sticks, then He carried the cross on the Via Dolorosa on a bleeding body.  After that He was crucified – the Lamb of God without sin, paying the ultimate price of obedience to death so that we can go free.  Then the sword was stuck into His side, causing water and blood to come forth, signifying the coming forth of His bride from His side. This is a mystery.

The life is in the blood and through His death and resurrection He gave us life and life more abundantly (John 10:10).

“Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.”

Isaiah 53:4-5

The blood of Jesus also brought us nigh unto Him.

But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Eph.2:13

Through the Blood an new living way was opened for us to enter into communion-union with God:

Therefore brethern, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the Holies of holies by the power and virtue in the blood of Jesus….. Heb.10:19-20 Amplified Bible

We have been redeemed from the curse of the law through the blood of Jesus and entered into grace, by which we stand!

The blood of Jesus did all these things for us (and more) and as we receive all that He provided for us by faith, we step into a new and living way of abundant life.

“It is finished!”

When we call the power of the blood against any demonic activity, it has to bow and depart!  The devil knows the power of the blood, but do we?!
