Breakthrough Waters

Recently I visited the Hartbeestpoortdam (outside of Pretoria, South Africa) after the many rains in the area. The sluice gates have been opened and masses of water were bursting through the gates in a mighty roar into the river below.

As I was watching this spectacle, listening to the roar of the waters, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me, saying, “Just as these mighty waters are bursting forth with a mighty roar, so shall I, the Breaker go before My people and break open the gates”. Watching these mighty waters is an exhilarating experience, leaving you in awe of the God of the universe while you realize that nothing can stand in its way.

“The Breaker [the Messiah] will go up before them. They will break through, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head.”(Micah 2:13 Amp).

The Spirit of the Lord brings the Breaker anointing, restoring everything into Kingdom order and alignment according to Is. 61 and Luke 4.
If you have felt hindered or kept back in any way lately, as though the opposition in the spirit realm has been to much for you, get your eyes back on your prophetic promises, refocus and put all your trust in the Breaker who will break you through every hindrance and bring you into a broad place.

DEPENDENCE ON THE HOLY SPIRIT

When David was anointed King for the second time, the Philistines took note and immediately rose up against him. Remember, God is about to promote those who have been steadfastly standing on their promises. The devil is very aware of the importance of this season of open doors and double blessings and he will do everything in his power to keep you “down”, trying to block you from breaking through into your new field.
After coming back from Kenya, where we saw great breakthrough and glory of the Lord, I had a week of daily harassment by workers around my living quarters. This included, noise, tremendous dust and dirt and invasion on my privacy. I simply closed the curtains, staying my mind on the Lord and then, like a spoilt child (not getting attention), the sliding door of my bedroom was crashed with dirt and glass blown into every corner. I realized that this was a prophetic picture of the enemy trying to invade your spiritual house with harassment to pull you out of the spirit into the flesh. In my spirit I heard the Word “victory” and the moment I took authority over the enemy everything came back into peace. Hallelujah!
We need to get spiritual perspective on our daily situations and rise up in the power of His might to not get dragged into involvement with our mind and emotions.

Just as in the case of David, we cannot rely on old methods, but we need to receive counsel from the Lord regarding His strategies to overcome the enemy.
Recently several people have reported “fears of snakes”. Sandy Freed had a dream about a python at the threshold of the open door that attempted to wrap itself around God’s children as they were going through the door. This speaks of the Jezebel spirit and the spirit of witchcraft with intimidating fear and also of water spirits trying to block your way.

The Lord gave David very specific strategy (opposite to what the enemy expected) and when He heard the sound in the mulberry bush, He had to attack (from a different angle). We have to listen carefully for the sound sent from heaven (the Prophetic Word) to know when and how to advance. The key strategies are revealed to us as we affirm our dependence on the Lord and seek His face. We cannot rely on our own strength or our own insights and understanding.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and
lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and He will make your paths straight.”
Prov.3:5-6

INCREASE in INTIMACY

The “new thing” that the Lord is doing is opening up in the Spirit realm as we look into His glory. This is where the greatest attack of the enemy is, namely to hinder us from entering in to His Glory. We need to get more passionate in our pursuit of Him than ever before, putting every weight aside and the sin that so easily ensnares us, running with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. (Heb.12:1-2)
Do not look back, to the side or down, but focus on the Lord. Start worshiping the Lord as the Breaker who sets the captives free, heals the broken-hearted, brings recovery of sight to the blind, sets at liberty those who are oppressed and proclaiming the acceptable year of the Lord.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE WORD

Recently I saw the title of a new book by Chuck Pierce, called “The Unfolding Battle Plan”. Suddenly the Holy Spirit quickened it to my spirit that, as we walk out our victory, there is progressive revelation that comes as we incline our ears to receive the “NOW” Word for the situation. As we simply LISTEN to receive His Word, come in agreement with it and DECLARE IT into our lives, we advance into our breakthrough. As I looked back in my diary I could see the unfolding of His battle plan and the advance until breakthrough came in a specific area.
So Arise now, Bride of Christ! Do not look at the current darkness, but look into the glory of the Lord and you will shine with His light as He makes a way for you through the open door of revelation into higher dimensions than you have ever dreamed of or imagined.

Hebrews 12:12-13

“So then, brace up and reinvigorate and set right your slackened and weakened and drooping hands and strengthen your feeble and palsied and tottering knees” (v.12)
Our hands droop when we stop worshiping and
our knees totter when we stop praying (getting our eyes on the problem and losing focus on the Lord).
“And cut through and make firm and plain and smooth, straight paths for your feet [yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction], so that the lame and halting [limbs] may not be put out of joint, but rather may be cured.” (v.13)

When the Lord gave David the victory, he called the place “Baal Perazim” and he said, “ The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.”(2 Sam.5:20) I want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s face for everything in your life, wait on Him to give you strategic keys; then GIVE THE LORD GLORY and watch Him break open the way for you!
