Enlarge Your Tents
I woke up with a dream where I saw a chamber or “box” and someone started to use a hammer to knock out the one side, connecting it to an adjacent box. In my dream the Scripture in Is.54 came:
“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shall break forth on the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.” (Is 54:1-3)
I suddenly heard a voice, saying, “Write it! Write it! Write it!” Then it became a chorus, singing it like a chant and I first saw heads bobbing up and down and then the figures of people dancing to the rhythm of it.
When you pursue that which the Holy Spirit is breathing on, you can be sure that the anointing will bring an acceleration and cause results far above what you can pray or think for the glory of the Lord.
I understood by the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding that this is a message for the body of Christ that the sound of the Word of the Lord (the “Hammer”) is hammering away the borders that we have put around our hearts, our families, churches and denominations – first to embrace our brothers and sisters in the faith and then to embrace the streams of the new believers that will flock to the Light in the coming outpouring of God’s Spirit.
It is our privilege to preach to Gospel of Christ everywhere through all possible means and allow the love of the Lord to enlarge our capacity to embrace the lost, by allowing the Holy Spirit to stretch forth the curtains of the tabernacle of our homes, families, churches as the body of Christ across all borders of denominational, cultural and ethnic differences, lengthening the cords for our tents to be spread wider to accommodate those that are outside; strengthening our stakes in the truth of the Gospel, guarding against false doctrines, errors and deceptions.
We need to lift up the flaps of our tabernacles so to speak, so that our light can shine brighter as we spread the Word in the love and power of the Holy Spirit.
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” (Isaiah 60 – KJV)
I also sense that there is a special writing anointing released by the Holy Spirit to spread the prophetic revelations that we receive in dreams, visions and such – especially regarding the great soul harvest that is upon us, that will bring a new song and a dance where there has been barrenness and desolation, filling cities that are desolate of the knowledge of God with true worship and prayer, causing the Church to rise up in her true calling.
Many prodigals will return and many who have been away from the Lord will come back from the land of the enemy as friends and family do not give up on them, but intercede for their very souls in union with our High Priest at the throne of Grace. This will bring forth great rejoicing and celebration and more testimonies of God’s greatness, love and power.
PRAYER: Our loving heavenly Father, we come to You in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, asking You to enlarge our heart’s capacity to love beyond all the borders that we have put up as self protection around ourselves, our families and churches and to allow Your love to knit and bond us with one another in unfeigned brotherly love. Then Father, help us to spread the curtains of our tents wide in love, mercy and grace so that the Gentiles can come to the Light shining out of us. Amen.
