Day 19 – The Upward Call
I know that many are sensing this “drawing” with cords of love upward into His Presence.
Paul says he regards everything as dung to know Christ.
“forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.” Phil.3:10
In all our prayers, worship, faith and decrees, let us not lose our main focus on the Lord Himself. He is All-worthy, All-powerful and so glorious! I sense we are in a place now in this time frame to set all our attention on Him and praise Him unceasingly, rejoicing and delighting in the Lord Himself, expecting His wonderworking power in our circumstances with hearts full of faith and thanksgiving.
* Worship Him with the Word for His faithfulness to bring it to pass.
* Worship Him much in tongues and in our understanding
* Worship Him for all His attributes
* DELIGHT yourselves in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Ps.37:4
The Greek Lexicon has surprised me with the meaning of this word, “delight”, which actually suggests intimacy. Let’s pursue intimacy with the Lord and worship Him in a very personal way in our closets, but also in the privacy of our hearts (even while in a crowd), singing love-songs to Him, enjoying His love and grace and mercy and faithfulness and who He is.
Delight
`anag (aw-nag’)
to be soft or pliable, i.e. (figuratively) effeminate or luxurious — delicate(-ness), (have) delight (self), sport self.
thyself also in the LORD
Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw’)
(the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God — Jehovah, the Lord.
and he shall give
nathan (naw-than’)
to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.)
thee the desires
mish’alah (mish-aw-law’)
a request — desire, petition.
of thine heart
leb (labe)
the heart; also used (figuratively) very widely for the feelings, the will and even the intellect
That means He wants to supply in all our needs emotionally, in our wishes and intellectual yearnings. Isn’t our God glorious?!
Now here is a secret: When His Presence comes, just declare, His Word (prophetic Words that we have been praying, like “the chains are broken”, “Breakthrough”, “Transformation”, our loved ones are drawn to the Lord with cords of love, or any Scripture or anything He gives you in that moment. When we release His Word back to Him in the glory, there is a tremendous acceleration and sometimes that Word even manifests in that moment. Glory to God!
When we come to Him in such assurance of faith, He will surely do what He promises when the things we ask are well-pleasing in His sight, according to His Word, promoting His Kingdom.
I am jubilating for I sense a glory celebration is about to break loose!
