Day 16 – Intercede in the Spirit
As I was getting dressed yesterday the Lord quickened the Word, “He lives to intercede for us” and I was totally overcome by the realization that the King of kings and Lord of lords is His glorious splendor is brooding over every one of His creation, interceding for us, having compassion on our weaknesses, and pulling us with cords of love to surrender to Him and receive our full inheritance in Him. All this is because He shed His blood for each one of us and desires intimate fellowship with each of us.
Hebrews 7:25
Amplified Bible (AMP)
25 Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.
When we pray in the Spirit, He intercedes with unutterable groanings for us.
Romans 8:26
Amplified Bible (AMP)
26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.”
I want to encourage everyone today to just meditate on these two Scriptures, praising the Lord for His unspeakable grace of providing even His intercession to us.
Pray much in the Spirit today over your requests, trusting the Lord completely to work mightily on our behalf in all our circumstances, just soaking it in the Spirit and listen for what the Lord is quickening to your spirit to pray in your natural language.
Also sing in the spirit with your own tune and trust Him to do that “above and beyond what we can pray or think” by His awesome power.
If you have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit, go somewhere where you cannot be disturbed. Simply ask the Father according to the Word, receive it by faith, take a deep breath and start speaking forth whatever comes. It might sound strange to you, but trust the Lord that He is giving you the perfect language to communicate with Him in the Spirit and continue in it till the full flow comes. You will experience a great shift in your communication with Him and in your understanding of the Word. This is how I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and I have never been the same since.
Luke 11:13

13 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good gifts [gifts that are to their advantage] to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!
PRAISE THE LORD that He is our High Priest, making intercession for us and thank the Holy Spirit for working in our circumstances to bring about the breakthrough that we desire.

* Today I received reports of two people who had financial miracles! Praise the Lord.
* Another lady had a glorious spiritual breakthrough, deliverance, emotional healing as well as a physical healing after a full surrender to the Lord while she was doing the 21 day prayer focus for someone else. All glory to God!!!
